Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Livingstone (Hotels & Lodges)
Contract Type: Contract
Reports To: Director / Housekeeping Supervisor
Closing Date: 10th December 2025 – 17:00hrs
Job Purpose
To provide professional cleaning and housekeeping services in hotels and lodges under MeJim Logistics’ management, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that exceeds guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Change bed linens and towels, replenish guest amenities, and maintain room cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lounges, and reception areas.
- Wash, iron, and fold linens and uniforms where applicable.
- Respond politely and promptly to guest requests and uphold guest privacy.
- Handle lost and found items responsibly.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Monitor and request cleaning supplies when running low.
Qualifications & Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management or Housekeeping is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in hotel or lodge housekeeping is desirable.
- Must be neat, honest, and dependable.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
