Peza Job Zambia, on behalf of our client a growing beverage manufacturing company operating in the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ), is looking to recruit qualified and dependable Machine Operators to support production and packaging in a fast-paced bottled water manufacturing plant.
We are hiring for the following two roles:
1. Blow Moulding Machine Operator
Role Summary:
Responsible for operating and maintaining blow moulding machines used to produce PET bottles for water packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️Operate blow moulding machines to form plastic bottles
▪️Monitor production quality and machine performance
▪️Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
▪️Record production data and report any technical issues
▪️Ensure safety and hygiene standards on the line
Requirements:
▪️Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field
▪️At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
▪️Knowledge of PET bottle production and machine handling
2. Shrink Wrap / Packaging Machine Operator
Role Summary:
Responsible for operating the shrink wrapping or packaging machines that wrap bottled water cases for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️Operate shrink wrap machine to pack bottles in sets
▪️Monitor film alignment, heat settings, and package quality
▪️Ensure proper sealing and stacking of finished products
▪️Clean the packaging area and report any faults or material shortages
▪️Support with manual packing if needed
Requirements:
▪️Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate
▪️1+ years of experience operating packaging or shrink wrap machines
▪️Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
▪️Willingness to work long hours in a factory setting
