WATER TREATMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER

 WE’RE HIRING – WATER TREATMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER

Location: Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ)

Industry: Bottled Mineral Water Manufacturing

 A reputable mineral water manufacturing company, is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Water Treatment and Quality Control Officer to join their production team.


This is a key technical role responsible for treating water, handling treatment chemicals, and ensuring the quality and safety of bottled mineral water produced.


Key Responsibilities:

▪Operate and monitor water treatment systems (RO, UV, ozone, and filtration units)

▪Handle chemical dosing and monitor water parameters (pH, TDS, conductivity, turbidity)

▪Conduct regular physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of water

▪Maintain hygienic conditions in the water processing and bottling areas

▪Keep accurate records of treatment operations and quality control logs

▪Assist in internal audits, inspections, and compliance with regulatory standards


Minimum Qualifications:

▪Diploma in: Water Operations, Environmental Health, Chemical Engineering or related field

Experience & Skills:

▪Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bottled water or beverage manufacturing plant

▪Hands-on experience in water treatment and chemical handling

▪Skilled in using lab equipment and conducting water quality tests

▪Good understanding of food safety and health regulations

▪Strong documentation and reporting abilities

▪High attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset
