Ukani Construction & Engineering Limited is a construction and engineering company based in Lusaka, Zambia, offering services in structural construction, interior design and civil works. We are seeking a competent and professional Office Administrator to support our growing operations.
Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Projects and Operations Lead
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling incoming calls, emails and walk-in enquiries professionally
Maintain and organise company documents, contracts, site records, and correspondence
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for management and site teams
Assist with preparation of invoices, tracking of payments, and basic bookkeeping entries
Support procurement administration including petty cash management and supplier correspondence
Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience (experience in a construction or engineering environment is an added advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
A fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new processes and environments
